The league currently has a North and a South division. All divisions have a healthy mix of skilled and less skilled teams. Each division consists of approximately 8 -12 teams and each team competes during the regular season and in playoffs within its own division.
Teams generally play 1 game per week during two time slots 5:45 pm to 7:00 pm or 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm Monday through Thursdays. Each team is allowed to carry a maximum of 20 players (men and women) with the game lineup consisting of 5 men and 5 women on the field.
Teams are required to provide their own equipment and umpires for the games. Our fields are located in the Highgate Park, Denison Park, Randall Park, Centennial North Park and Milliken Mills areas of Markham.
While the objective is to have fun and get a little exercise, we do crown divisional champions and have a year-end round robin within divisions to crown an overall league champion!! |
